pre treatment instructions

DO

Shave the treatment area 24 hours prior to your appointment. 

DO

Arrive 5 minutes prior to your appointment, to allow time to get unchanged and ready for your treatment.

DO

Inform your Laser Practitioner of any changes to your medication, including those bought from a chemist or herbalist.

A medical history is taken at Consultation, but we rely on you to inform us of any changes to this.

DO

Take photos throughout your Laser Hair Removal journey to track the progress of your treatments.

DO

Hydrate the body by drinking plenty of water on the day of your treatment.

DO

Let the Practitioner know if you have questions or need assistance before, during or after the treatment.

DOn't

Wax, Thread, Pluck, use Hair Removal Creams or Bleach Creams for four weeks prior to your treatment and throughout your Laser Hair Removal journey.

DOn't

Use Sunbeds, Fake Tan, Nasal Tanners or expose the treatment area to prolonged exposure to sunlight for four weeks prior to treatment.

Sun and Fake tan must be left to fade completely before treatment can start.

DOn't

Use Acid based products such as Retinol, Salicylic, Glycolic, Hyaluronic Acids for two weeks prior to treatment.

DOn't

Apply any products onto the area which is going to be treated i.e. Make Up, Perfume, Deodorant and Body or Face cream.

DOn't

Take Antihistamines, Aspirin or Ibuprofen for 24 hours prior to treatment.

DOn't

Wear tight fitted and dark clothing to your appointments. Try to wear loose fitted and light fabrics instead.

aftercare instructions

DO

Try to keep the skin as cool as possible after your treatment. i.e. use the ice packs provided

DO

Use a light, soothing serum such as 100% pure Aloe Vera Gel to reduce irritation.

DO

Use a sunscreen (SPF 50+) and protect the treatment area from sunlight as much as possible between treatments.

DO

Exfoliate 24 hours before treatment and

7 to 10 days after your treatment to achieve optimal results.

DO

Wait 24 hours after treatment to have a shower or bath. After 24 hours, please shower/bathe in cool or luke warm water. 

DOn't

Scratch the area after treatment. It is normal to experience redness, heat bumps and slight itchiness. Please take an antihistamine / allergy tablet which will help these symptoms to subside within a few hours.

DOn't

Apply any products onto skin for 24 hours after treatment i.e. Cream, Makeup, Deodorant or Perfume etc

DOn't

Expose the area to excessive heat for 48 hours after the treatment i.e. Gym activities, Swimming, Sauna and Steam rooms, Hot baths/ Showers, Cooking with steam in the kitchen etc.

DOn't

Shave in between treatments so the hair is able to shed naturally.
